I must admit that I am not really a big fan of Chablis. The village wines and premier cru's are good but seldom brilliant. Too many times I end up having a bottle of white Burgundy instead.
So I was sceptical to this one I must say.
But I am openminded so I was pleasantly surprised by this Grand cru from the biggest and probably best plot called "Les Clos".
Medium yellow green colour. Quite a lovely nose with citrus, green apples, smoke and minerals.
Great balanced full bodied taste with a long aftertaste.
