Bourgogne Chardonnay 2010

Very reasonable basic white Burgundy. Apples, minerals and oak on the nose. A bit too much oak for my liking but the taste is very good with a lively acidity and minerality. Very good value for money ! Ca 160 nok or ca 12€. Perfect with fried cod. Bourgogne Chardonnay 2010  Pascale Matrot Very good entry to white Burgundy

Leitz Rudesheimer Berg Rottland 2011

Dry Rieslings from Germany are getting increasingly better and no exception for Leitz and this Riesling from Rheingau. Lime, apple and minerals on the nose and a very fruity and balanced taste that is very difficult to resist. 2011 is a good year and the wine comes with a handy screwcork (that you never need to put back on as the bottle is empty before you know it) Perfect with seafood or sushi. Leitz Riseling 2011 Rudesheimer Berg Rottland, Rheingau Border low/medium price Ca 200NOK

Dolcetto di Dogliani 2010

Good Dolcettos are brilliant stuff and this one is such a wine. Deep wonderful purple color with a somewhat closed nose in the beginning. However, it opens up in a symphony of cherries, blackcurrant and herbs. Firm taste, but also very fruity and juicy. Lovely stuff. One of the top 10 Dolcetto's I have tasted. Perfect with pizza, pasta and white fish. Dolcetto di Dogliani 2010 "Briccolero" Chionetti Low price range

Matua Valley Pinot Noir 2010

This is a reasonable and quite a nice Pinot Noir from Marlborough in New Zealand. Seductive sweet red berries and vanilla on the nose. "Warm" balanced taste. Perhaps not extremely advanced but a perfect party wine with a handy screwcork. Pinot Noir 2010, Matua Valley, Marlborough
