Sometimes you deserve something special. White Burgundy is 100% Chardonnay just as Chablis, but is a totally different world.
The best white Burgundies come from Chassagne Montrachet, Pulugny Montrachet, Corton, Saint Aubin and of course Meursault.
They are not cheap, but they are full bodied dry whites with a lovely seductive smell of lime, butter, minerals and spices.
A wine like this is perfect with white fish and especially with a butter sauce.
Use big Burgundy glasses for such wines otherwise you will not understand what's the fuzz is all about. It should also be drunk at around 12-13c.
